Facilities
ReceptionOur reception is open around the clock, and our staff ensures a safe environment for all our guests. Check-in can be done from 13h00 and you will have access to your room at 15h00 at the latest. If you arrive later than 17h00, you must notify us in advance, unless your room is pre-paid. Check-out must take place before 10h00 on your day of departure.
Luggage Box
You can rent a luggage box by paying with coins in the teller attached to the box.
Kiosk
Our kiosk at Danhostel Copenhagen Amager has a large selection of breakfast items such as bread rolls, cheese, jam, milk and yogurt. It is also possible to buy Quickfood and sandwiches, crisps, biscuits, beer and wine, other kiosk products and toiletries as well as postcards and souvenirs. Our shop also sells the Copenhagen Card and HT map.
Traveling with children
Our new playground has lots of fun opportunities: a playing field, a pentanque area and plenty of green spaces. You can borrow various games in the reception. If you want to play table tennis, basketball or darts all the equipment is there.
Just outside our door you will find Amager Common with ample opportunities for walking and jogging in the beautiful area.
Keys
All our guests have their own key, so you can go and come as you please. When returning late, we kindly ask all our guests to consider the other guests staying, just as we expect a quiet environment during the day.
Vending Machines
In the reception area at Danhostel Copenhagen Amager you can buy candy, ice cream, cold and hot drinks from our vending machines - around the clock.
Lounge area, living room and cyber café
All guests at Danhostel Copenhagen Amager have access to various facilities. In our lounge area you will find a TV, café tables as well as our internet café. We also offer our guests free newspapers and our notice boards will give you information about various attractions and events in Copenhagen. In the cozy living room you will find comfortable furniture as well as a TV and reading room where you can borrow books. We also have a dining room with panoramic views and access to a lovely terrace with tables and benches – perfect when the weather is good.
Wireless Internet
You will find Free wireless internet access throughout the hostel area.
If you wish to use our computers - Access can be bought for DKK 10, DKK 20 and DKK 30, respectively for ½ hour, 2 hours and 6 hours.

For guests with disabilities
Danhostel Copenhagen Amager is a disability friendly hostel. Our building is all in ground level, and we have ensured perfect access for our disabled guests. In addition, we have four large bathrooms and toilets specially designed for disabled, just as we have a lift in the living room. Contact us at copenhagen@danhostel.dk , and we will book the right room for you.

Our laundry room is a Laundromat. If you need to wash your clothes while staying with us, we have washing machines, dryers and ironing equipment. You may use our Laundromat everyday from 13h00.
